The works comprised of the demolition, alterations, refurbishment and construction of a new single storey extension to the existing residential property. A fantastically designed project which has completely transformed this existing residential property into a unique modern home. By simply modernising the external materials of the existing structure, reversing the roof on the main living room and the construction of a small extension it completely changed the look and feel of this property. Brise Soleil solar shading was also incorporated into the design to reduce heat gains where the building was in direct sunlight. These changes were so good that the project was recently awarded a RIBA Suffolk Design Award 2018
